I bought it because a friend discovered radon in his new build. I never thought to check before and was surprised and dismayed to see 178bq/m^3. It is just below Health Canada recommendations but still a concern. I rather quickly found that covering the basement floor drain dropped the number significantly. I now show around 30 bq/m^3. A neighbour 100 feet away borrowed it. He has 100 bq/m^3 in his house. Good thing to know about our neighbourhood.The phone app is the easiest app to install. The graph is great as it takes hours for my house to respond. I open a window or cover a drain and check the trend next day. I am leaving it running except when friends want to borrow it!
