I have been using this scale for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it is a few steps above a typical scale and a great device for helping to monitor one's health. As the description says, it tracks 10 metrics, although not all of these are really "measured" by scale, some (BMI, Metabolic Age) are calculated:* Weight* Heart Rate* BMI* Body Fat* Lean Body Mass* Hydration* Visceral Fat* BMR (Basic Metabolic Rate)* Bone Mass* Metabolic AgeYou may be wondering how some of these are measured (I was), and there are tips in the app (you MUST use the app if you have this scale). Each metric has a detailed description of what it is and how to improve your health and in some cases how to ensure accurate measurement. For example, for visceral fat the foot positioning is important.Pros:* Sleek design, low profile, especially the nice rounded corners. We keep the scale in the bathroom, and at night if I get up and stumble there, I don't have to worry about kicking a sharp-cornered scale (as I have done with our previous one).* Ease of setup - yes, the manual only has two pages (in English) and they force you to use the app, but it's pretty simple to setup - for the first user (*see cons below).* The app seems feature rich and has a nice interface. Parts took a bit to figure out (for example swiping left to delete a measurement I didn't want to keep), but there is a lot there in the app, it's very mature.* Reliable and accurate - The scale seems give me an accurate read pretty quickly, and communicate it to my phone reliably. I never noticed a missed measurement, even when I stepped on the scale twice in succession (although I did have to refresh the app to display the new one in that particular case).* If you don't want to check the app, the scale itself gives you the highlights while you stand there: weight, pulse, and a couple of the others. That's a nice touch.* It's even smart enough to recognize off measurements - I lifted a 10 lb. box and rather than just assume I'd eaten a big meal, the app asked if this was really a bona fide measurement.Cons:* It was confusing to set up for two people. When I installed the app on my wife's phone (since the app only works for one person, which is also a limitation imo - no profiles) I had to go through the whole wifi setup process again, which was odd. In the end it worked, and we weigh different enough that it doesn't confuse our profiles. I am not sure what would happen if we weighed near the same.* Integration with Google Fit seemed a bit spotty for me. I did get some weight measurements to show up, but not every day's. I don't really use Google Fit so I didn't try too hard to troubleshoot.* It does seem a little pricey, but Noerden is a solid brand, the design of the product is great and like I mentioned above, the app seems pretty good. In my view, it's much better than a cheap "smart scale".This scale seems to work well. It provides BMI, % body fat vs. lean mass, amount of bone mass, heart rate, base metabolic rate, visceral fat, and hydration percentage. If you just use the scale, then it will just show your the weight on the digital readout on the scale itself. In order to collect all of the other statistics, you need to download the app from the app store for your device, create an account in their system, and pair your scale to your phone. You then open the app and click "Start Body Analysis" before stepping onto the scale. Once you do that, then it will collect all of the above statistics and show them to you in the app, as well as save them to your account. You can compare change over time in each of those statistics by tapping a particular statistic on the measurement screen. To change the units displayed for the different metrics (on Android... I don't have an iOS device, so not sure about interface differences between the two):Tap the icon person icon at the bottom of the app screen, which goes to your profile.Tap the three dots at the top-right corner of the profile screen.Tap "Settings"Tap "Account settings"Tap "Units"From here, you can set the units for weight, height, distance, and hydration level (i.e. liquid volume.)The app interface is not the most intuitive. A lot of the stuff I just had to figure out by tapping different stuff until I found what I was looking for (and I design software user interfaces professionally.)Also, I would prefer if you didn't have to create an account with their system in order to use this scale. There's no reason why it can't at least have an option to just store all of this information on your phone rather than requiring you to store it "in the cloud" (i.e. on their server.) Unfortunately, they don't provide such an option. If you want to use this scale for any of its "smart" features, you have to create an account with NOERDEN and save all of your information on their servers. The feet on the scale are not very tall, so it won't work on carpet unless it's very firm, short-pile carpet. Not necessarily a downside, just a limitation to be aware of. You'll probably want to use this on hardwood, tile, or some other such hard surface in order to get accurate readings. Unless you just want to see a very low weight, in which case, 70s shag carpet or a memory foam mattress is probably the way to go. :)Once you figure out the not-so-intuitive UI, the scale does do its job well and being able to see how the different metrics have changed over time is nice. You can also set a target weight and it will show progress toward that target. From the minute I opened it, I could tell the scale was well made. However, it is high tech so unless you know how to set up apps on your phone, you will have a difficult time using this scale. I love that it sends your readout to your phone and gives you a detailed view of your weight and compares it to your weight the last time you weighed yourself. Overall, it is a great product and very useful in helping with weight loss. So, first let me say that I don't agree with having to have an App to use a scale but it seems that if you want to use any of the additional features of anything anymore you need an App. So to test the scale out for all the features I did download the App but immediately deleted it and just use the scale now for weight. With all that being said, the scale is pretty neat. It gives an accurate weight and having the heart rate reading is a nice feature and seems pretty accurate. As for BMI this is never really accurate be it with a scale or with your doctor as they use a formula and that doesn't take into account body fat as opposed to muscle weight. The scale is a very nice modern design and does fit in nicely in our bathroom. I do like the scale just not the fact that an App is needed to use it to its fullest.RAs, fonctionne aussi bien que d'autre marques beaucoup plus chères体重を測るだけでスマホアプリと連動して記録してくれるので楽アプリからiPhoneのヘルスケアにも連携してくれるので、手を動かさなくてよくなった
